Mazda 2 now comes with a USB port as standard

Yes, it’s a slow news day, but potential Mazda 2 buyers will rejoice at the news that the company’s small hatch now comes with a USB port as standard — like all cars should in 2012.

As with other Mazdas, the newly installed port in the 2 supports Apple devices, as well as USB memory sticks, with track info being displayed on the entertainment system’s little LED read out. Hurrah. Now just don’t use your new found power to play the latest Justin Bieber or One Direction, okay?
