Lamborghini Veneno Roadster limited to 9 cars, quadrupiles Veneno population

The hyperexclusive Lamborghini Veneno has spawned a roadster version ditches the coupe’s roof and replaces it with a rollover bar.

Like the Veneno coupe, the roadster is powered by a mid-mounted 6.5-litre V12 sending 552kW (750hp) of power to all four wheels via a 7-speed independent shift rod (ISR) transmission. It can race from 0 to 100km/h in 2.9 seconds (0.1 second slower than the coupe) and hit a top speed of 355km/h (221mph).

Clad with carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) body panels the Veneno roadster weighs 1,490kg (up 40kg from the coupe).

In Europe the Veneno roadster will retail for €3.3 million before taxes, and production is limited to just nine cars. If you think that’s limited remember that Lamborghini is producing just three copies of the Veneno coupe.
