Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept: hotter car mines Red Bull F1 link

Infiniti has revealed the look of its hotted up Q50 Eau Rouge Concept.

There’s no word yet as to how much extra power is lurking underneath the Q50’s long bonnet. We do know, however, that the Q50 Eau Rouge sits on lower, stiffer suspension. It also has flared wheel arches, a wider track, carbon fibre bodykit, and Brembo brakes. According to Infiniti the only untouched body panels on the car are the roof and doors.

Although Infiniti is touting a lot of involvement and inspiration from the Red Bull Formula 1 racing team, their involvement is most likely limited to PR (public relations) and IP (intellectual property).

What with the name? Formula 1 fans will know that Eau Rouge is a corner at the Spa-Francorchamps track in Belgium. The corner is named for the stream that the track crosses at that point. Eau Rouge means red river in French, hence the Eau Rouge Concept’s deep red body paint.
