Hyundai ix35 update: so mild you might miss it entirely

… unless, of course, we get the grille treatment that has so far been restricted to the Korean market (see below).


Hyundai Australia teased its Facebook fans the other day with a photo of an updated ix35 on a recent ad shoot. So what are we likely to get when the refreshed ix35 hits Australian showrooms?

The Santa Fe-style grille seen on the Korean market Tucson ix is incredibly unlikely. What’s far more probable are revised front and rear lights featuring LED driving lights, LED brake lights and bi-xenon headlights for high spec models; upgraded materials for the interior; a high resolution multi-function trip computer display for the instrument panel; and the same high-res touchscreen for the entertainment and nav system that’s now used through much of the Hyundai range.
