Hyundai ix35 gains sat nav

Hyundai has made a few modifications to its ix35 with the addition of satellite navigation to the Elite and Highlander models being the key change.

There are no external changes to distinguish the updated ix35, but the upgraded specs on most models and the expanded availability of two-wheel drive should more than make up for this.

The entry-level Active model now features a 5-inch touchscreen sound system with Bluetooth hands-free and audio streaming, iPod compatible USB port, auxiliary jack, six speakers and CD slot.

Buyers stepping up to the Elite variant can now opt for two-wheel drive with the 2-litre petrol engine and six-speed auto drivetrain. Plenty of gear has been added to this grade, with all Elite models now featuring dual-zone climate control, electrochromatic rear vision mirror, and a 6.5-inch touchscreen audio system featuring sat nav and rear view camera.

The upgraded top-of-the-range Highlander model also features the same said 6.5-inch touchscreen system with sat nav and reversing camera.
