Honda HR-V will go on sale from February 2015 in Australia

Honda Australia has confirmed that the all-new HR-V SUV, which slots in underneath the larger CR-V, will go on sale down under from February 2015.

In Australia, the HR-V will be available with just one engine: a 105kW/172Nm 1.8-litre petrol 4-cylinder. Fuel economy is said to be between 6.6L/100km and 6.9L/100km.

Based on the Jazz platform, the HR-V will feature rear magic seats, which fold, slide, flip and lie flat. New-to-Honda tech includes automated braking at city speeds.

There’s also a touchscreen entertainment system with voice control, Bluetooth.
