FPV GT-F will be FPV’s Ford Falcon swansong: $78k car may have 351kW V8

Ford has announced that it’s last ever FPV-tuned Falcon sedan will badged as the FPV GT-F, with the F standing for final.

Ford is staying mum for the next three weeks as to the looks and exact specification of FPV’s final car. We do know, however, that the GT-F will be priced at A$77,990 and will be limited to 550 models — 500 for the Australian market and 50 for New Zealand.

According to Ford the GT-F will wear 275/35 R19 Dunlop Sports Maxx tyres, and feature Brembo (6-piston front; 4-piston rear) brakes as standard. The interior will be dark and fitted with high quality stitched leather, and the GT-E high-end audio and entertainment system.

The GT-F will be available in five colours (white, blue, black, orange and dark grey) with matte black stripes as standard; white-on-blue and gold-on-black stripes will be optional.
