Ford has officially launched its final ever FPV sedan, the A$77,990 supercharged GT-F.
The exterior changes to signify the final sedan from Ford Performance Vehicles are subtle. While this will disappoint many, it sits well the FPV ethos, which has always eschewed the flashier styling tics of its rival HSV.
Styling changes for GT-F include a black bonnet stripe, orange leather stitching and detailing, and plenty of GT-F badging and logos.
Under the hood the 5-litre supercharged V8 has been tuned to deliver 351kW of power and 570Nm of torque. The output figure was carefully engineered to honour the Falcon 351 GT muscle cars.
550 GT-F sedans will be made, with 500 allocated to Australia and a further 50 for New Zealand. The F in GT-F stands, incidentally, for final.
