Forza Horizon now on sale; play it at the Sydney Motor Show

The latest installment of the Forza Racing franchise on Xbox is out in stores.

Forza Horizon uses the same graphics and physics engine from Forza Motorsport 4, but adds dirt and mixed surface racing to the menu for the first time. In addition to the usual clutch of circuits, there’s a expansive Colorado road track and 24-hour racing as well.

If you’re unsure as to whether you should stump up the cash for the new game, or you just want to race 7 other people, head on down to the Sydney Motor Show where there’s an 8-player game set up in a corner wedged between the Holden and Proton stands. For each player there’s a bucket seat, and a dedicated TV and Xbox console. No steering wheels are setup, however, so you’ll have to make do with the standard Xbox controller.

The game is on sale now at A$79.99 for the standard edition, while the limited edition retails for A$99.99.

A rally expansion pack will be available from 18 December in the Xbox Live store for 1,800 MS points.
