Ford Falcon: a history of every generation

The end is now officially nigh for Australia’s Ford Falcon. To make this sad occasion we take a look back at every generation from the 1960’s XK in 1960 to today’s FG Mark II.

Up September 1960 there was no serious challenger to the Holden that dominated the sales charts. This changed when Ford released its XK Falcon, which was essentially Ford US' "compact" car.
