Fiat has unveiled the Punto-based Avventura concept car at the New Delhi Auto Show, but we’re not sure how far off-road it can go.

Compared to the Punto hatch, on which it’s based, the Avventura concept car features jacked up suspension that sits 200mm off the ground, and off-road-look black plastic over fenders. There’s also a completely redesigned front end with new headlights, front guards, bonnet, bumper and grille. At the rear a new rear bumper houses a swing away spare wheel carrier.

According to MotorBeam the Avventura features a 1.3-litre turbo diesel pumping out 67kW and 209Nm of torque to the front wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission. Apparently all-wheel drive isn’t on the menu.
