Fiat 500L is all about mothers carrying kids around; at least they’re honest about it

We’re not huge fans of the way Fiat 500L looks, but you have to admire the company’s honesty when advertising its new supersized 5-seat 500L in the UK. For the new mini-people mover that’s slathered (rather unsatisfying, in our opinion) with Fiat 500-styling cues, the company has come up with an amusing rap video entitled “The Motherhood”.

Clearly the car’s best assets are its relatively small size and family carrying capacity. These are same attributes which help to shift so many SUVs nowadays, although those cars are primarily marketed on the dream of fording country creeks, scaling sand dunes and exploring Australia’s vast outback.

Enough pontificating, this one goes out to all the mothers out there, old and new.
