Cadillac Elmiraj concept previews S-Class competitor, debuts new badge

Cadillac has unveiled the Elmiraj concept car, which gives us a clue as to what the brand’s upcoming S-Class/7-Series/A8/LS competitor will look like.

Appropriately the Cadillac Elmiraj has a very American look thanks to its long, low and slinky body — it’s over 5.2 metres long! Under the long hood is a 4.5-litre twin-turbo V8 sending 373kW of power and 678Nm of torque to the rear wheels.

The Elmiraj runs on 22-inch alloy wheels, while stopping power is provided a ceramic brake package. On the inside there’s a finely crafted one-off interior featuring hand-cut Brazilian rosewood, camel leather and titanium accents. There’s 10-inch touchscreen for the nav and entertainment system, while the behind the translucent analogue gauges is a large LCD screen for the trip computer, navigation and other functions.
