BMW Zagato Roadster is wonderful eye candy, nothing more

Over the weekend at the 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, BMW took the covers off its delectable Z4-based Zagato Roadster concept car.

The follow up to the almost-as-ravishing BMW Zagato Coupe, the Roadster has about as much chance of making it to production, as this writer has of marrying Jessica Alba, winning the Euro Millions and being crowned the King of Persia.

In fact, BMW will talk your head off about all of the car’s stylistic elements, but is surprising mum about what’s underneath the hood or any of the technical features of the car. Which is all a shame, but just feast your eyes and drift away.
