2014 Lexus CT200h facelift: spindle grille added, but not much else

Ahead of the Guangzhou Motor Show in China, which will be held around the same time as the Tokyo Motor Show, Lexus has revealed the long rumoured facelift of the CT200h hybrid hatch. As expected it features the company’s spindle grille, but, at first blush, not much else.

From the supplied images the CT200h features new front and rear bumpers. The front includes the company’s now requisite spindle grille, albeit more subtly applied than in the IS, GS or LF-NX Concept. The rear bumper looks to be slightly more aggressive and there’s a fresh set of alloy wheels, but the rest, including head- and tail-lights, looks pretty like the car that’s currently sitting in showrooms and plying the roads.

Lexus is saying much else about the facelift’s nitty gritty — no word, for instance, on whether the updated CT200h will have more power, better range, uprated electrics, retuned handling, spec upgrades or the revised Remote Touch controller.
