2014 Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4 high-res images leaked

The successor to Lamborghini’s “entry-level” Gallardo supercar, the Huracan, has been revealed ahead of time by, apparently, Italy’s La Stampa newspaper in an online article that’s now been taken offline.

Update (22 Dec 2013): We’ve put all the official pics in the gallery now. And our latest article has more juicy, and official, info on the Huracan LP610-4.

The newspaper’s retraction of its earlier article hasn’t stopped other outlets from hosting the high resolution images, which seem to match up with spy photos taken of the Huracan in its final development phases.

Naturally we don’t have much concrete information on the new Lamborghini Huracan except that for a LP610-4 badge on its rear fender. Going on Lamborghini’s historical nomenclature this means that the new Huracan will boast 610PS (metric horsepower) of power and four-wheel drive. That works out to 449kW for those of us living in the metrified world and 602hp for those still dwelling in the past.

The Huracan will likely feature a V10 engine displacing around five litres. With 449kW on board the new car should eclipse the ultimate version of the outgoing Gallardo, which had 570PS or 419kW at its disposal.
