2014 Dodge Durango adds more (Ron) Burgundy to the range

Dodge has successfully harnessed the power of the internet and social media to cross-promote its updated Durango SUV and the upcoming Anchorman 2 movie. So, it has decided to release more Burgundy-coloured ads for its revised Durango.

While enjoyable, the best of the new batch of advertisements (at least in our opinion) is one that doesn’t even feature Ron Burgundy. In the first video below there’s a CGI-enhanced horse who responds to a tweet sent by the Breeders’ Cup World Championship:

Thinking @Dodge and Ron Burgundy have vastly underestimated the power of one horse! bit.ly/19uIBq7 #BC13 #HorsePower

According to AdWeek, Dodge and Will Ferrell have filmed around 70 Ron Burgundy ads for the Durango. Great Odin’s raven indeed.
